What is Alabama Youth Soccer doing with the US Soccer changes?

This has to be the worst decision USSF has made to date. This will hurt many kids unnecessarily. It is trying to be spun as a development enhancement, but is just a lame attempt to show they are doing what the rest of the world does with birth year. The real development issue is our culture, which is improving, but will take time. Unfortunately, this may set the country back. Just ask, what will happen to 8th graders when 60% of the team is playing high school. Even worse what happens to the Aug-dec kids for their senior year when they have lost 60% of their teammates to graduation? The senior part is worse particularly on the boys side for those wanting to play in College. Even for the girls who get offers in their junior year, they should play competitively their senior year.
