I caught the second half of the U17 WC final between Switzerland and Nigeria. It was a very entertaining game. The Swiss won 1-0 even though this was the first time they participated in the event and they were playing Nigeria IN Nigeria.

I saw the game as well and thought it was an exciting game. I did not think that anyone was going to beat the Nigerians with their pace, but the Swiss managed. Their defense was great, especially Rodriguez at left back.
Nigeria's captain is still under an "overage" cloud, if you can trust anything on the internet. The team did have MRI's, and about 14-15 players were sent packing. There seems to be some speculation as to whether this player, the captain, ever had one. There are pages if you check, that say that the NFF was negligent. Reports are that the player in question never showed up for the scan.
Anyway, it was a great game. I thought if Nigeria's forwards would have worked together as unit, and not tried to score themselves, (all those blasted sky balls, and not looking to see who else was open at net), then the result could have been different
