More DA confirmation that DA is the future

U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team head coach Tab Ramos has added Philadelphia Union defender Auston Trusty to the U.S. roster ahead of the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which kicks off in Korea Republic on Saturday. The Philadelphia Union defender has been with the team as an alternate in case of injury since the USA departed for training camp in Japan on May 10.

Additionally, defender Marlon Fossey has been released back to his club. Fossey came into training camp carrying a groin injury but held hopes of healing enough to play in the tournament.

With the changes, the U-20 MNT roster remains at 21 players. The team arrived in Incheon, Korea Republic late Wednesday night ahead of its opening match against Ecuador on May 22 at Incheon Stadium (4 a.m. ET; FS1).

More Proff ECNL Producing Women Players over and over again new GDA ?

Two U16 ECNL players called in to US U17 Women's National Team

CHICAGO (April 13, 2017) – The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will kick off its new cycle with a trip to Italy and Slovenia from April 19-30 to participate in the 2nd Torneo Femminile Delle Nazioni. The tournament has been held for boys’ teams for the past 14 years (including this one), but this is just the second time it has been held for women’s teams.

The year’s competition is for players born in 2001 or later and features two groups of four teams each, with the USA in Group B along with Slovenia, England and Mexico. Group A features Italy, France, Germany and Belgium.

The USA opens against Slovenia on Tuesday, April 25 at the Sportni Park Ajdovscina in Ajdovscina, Slovenia, which is just 18 miles past the northeast border of Italy. The USA will then face Mexico on Wednesday, April 26 at ASD Fiumicello in Fiumicello, Italy and finishes group play against England on Friday, April 28 at ND Adria Miren in Miren, Slovenia, which is located just over the border with Italy.

After group play, each team will play a placement game on Saturday, April 29, with the group winners playing for the championship, the second-place finishers playing for third, the third-place finishers playing for fifth and the fourth-place finishers playing for seventh.

The tournament is being staged at 15 different venues, nine in Italy and six in Slovenia.

Ask yourself is US Mens Soccer NT better on a world stage then Women's NT and we know the answer ! Now the ECNL has been the leader in production of women players the GDA is new and the boys DA program has not produce much of anything .... So you are telling us that US Soccer is trusting a heavy boys clubs for development over the estabished girls platform ECNL now watch the US Women's talent go down the tubes !

Women have a lot less competition. And, in the last competition our ladies didn't perform so well.

Yeah, but the men suck ***** and always have. Think about it. USSF was founded over eighty years ago. 80! Not only have we never won a world cup, we've never even been close! Basically, the men's team is a disappointment year in year out. This is because real men who are good athletes in this country don't play the game. Will we qualify for the upcoming world's cup? Who knows? Maybe we can get enough ties with powerhouse teams like Panama to make the cut! Its a girl's game in America and we should be proud of our women's team since it is the only team that will ever accomplish anything. Those who say it is because they have no competition are just rationalizing the fact that the men's game in this County is for tiny kids and fat kids who can't play other sports.

More self-worship. Excuse me while I vomit

"DA confirmation" that DA is the future

USSF declares that their own program is the future. Nice. Except that they forgot to say why we should believe them.

You are right about the U16 players on the 17 team and both are committed to play in the fall GDA under the rules of USSA. When GDA has their opening day. The top will walk away from the present great league. Why because USSA runs the
                Joint.

This gets the "dumbest post of the month" prize....

You're talking about MLS Academies, yes... they are better and much different from your usual pay-to-play DA's. There's better coaching, players and competition there.

When people sh!t on DA's they talk about places like BU and the such, those are useless....
