The question we all have can FV coach other teams and make them winners he has done this with his team and his kids but I wonder if he can do it with a random team that he sons and followers are not on ? I would hope its a yes because I know he can train players to get better so this might be a rhetorical question.

For girls correct PG is great for the girls side they really do not have a boys program anymore at Delray with FV leaving for Coral Springs it sent the message loud and clear the direction is girls program make sense with PG

If you were to look at the number of boys out last night in Delray, it doesn't substantiate that message. Not to mention FV having tryouts last night in Delray with his u12/13 boys. I would say Delray was more a boys club but that could be different tonight with the 11/12 groups.

FV is a coach
He is not tied to any club
He will coach a u13 team at Delray and a u14 team at Coral Springs
Most of the players in these teams are players who he has trained and developed
Other players will be needed to complete both teams

Agreed so it should translate it is just a question I have had since he seems to move a little but the draw is travel is that one team his kids are on. I talked to Delray last year the parents love him but told me he was intense and kids that are sensitive might not do well on his team not sure what that means !

I was at tryouts last night and it wasn't even close to a light tryout as you claim it was. I'm sure the grass is greener somewhere else though. See you at CSU in August.

Simple math tells me it was thin. The tryouts were for U9 - U14 girls. Assuming having a few subs on each of these teams you need at least 66 players to be able to just field ONE TEAM of EACH age group.

Not sure what you saw but from what i saw it is going to be hard to field a team in each of these age groups if that was the "big" turnout.

Learn your facts only means he's coaching 2 teams at 2 different club doesn't mean anything else you are like trying to dissect the situation more then it should be. FV will be a CSU tonight ask him yourself I bet you won't and if you do he will give you the same answer. He just coaching 2 teams.

It means more then what your trying not to say what coach last year coaches at Delray then take two teams at CSU and Delray the same age group. Facts are adding up he will be a long term CSU coach and next year he will not be at Delray. Maybe I see DOC in the future for FV at CSU ?

The turnout last night for tryouts was slim. Nothing as was stated or promised. There was no big turnout. 17 girls for the U14g trying out. Really? We can barely form 1 team in this age group and if in fact we can only form 1 team don't we want to form a team with quality players who work hard and earn their position on the teams? Not just be put on the team because there parents have ties to the club, coaches or DOC? Unfortunately this was not the case. Looks like this will be the same as last year. Lazy players waiting for hard working players to make them look good. The new coach was not even there...not a good start. Just another disappointment.
