Does anyone have know who the coaches for CSU are or is that not going to be announced and everyone has to wait until tryouts? We were advised it would be posted by the end of last week after a meeting was held. Nothing is posted on website. JW stated by rule of thumb a coach does not stay with a team for more than 2 years...One can only hope that is the case here! All these girls deserve a fair chance!Comment

Cause my kid will definitely be a starter on her team now. I get to be the team manager so I can tell the coach where she should play. I could care less about the politics of the game and normally do not indulge in any of this BS. I would imagine CSU is looking for players with skills and ones it can help progress further along. CSU already has dedicated skilled players who love the game, are good at it, love their teammates, are team players, want to improve their skills and abilities and look to learn new things but due to who knows who in this league and the usual politics it felt like time wasted this year and no progress at all. So bottom line, we would love to stay but not for the same BS and waste of time. Hence the reason for the question of who are the coaches for the 2015/2016 season! Believe it or not it makes a difference this year! Sure one child leaving CSU is nothing as it has happened in the past, we wouldn't be the first to go if we did and surely wouldn't be the last. Every club has issues trying to see if CSU is willing to fix these issues and provide these kids with better skills and better coaching.Comment

Glad you made it to the Board next year. However, your child should only be a starter is they work hard for that position. Not because you are going to get to be on the Board or a team manager and tell the coach where they should play or who should play for that matter. That would just be a repeat of this year. Who even writes this BS. This is supposed to be a league that plays its skilled players first and foremost. That's why is called competitive soccer. This isn't the developmental portion of the league. This isn't rec league either. You should want to make your strong players stronger and develop and teach more skills to all and develop the weaker players into stronger ones. The girls deserve to be together and grow together. The drama needs to stop..THe grass is not always greener as 90% find out. Pick your battles..THe CSU 13 Girls are a very strong team who continue to grow and tearing the team apart would be the worst thing for them. If you want to be involved in travel soccer it takes dedication and commitment and if you think its going to be "easier" somewhere else then you are doing a disservice to your daughter. There will be changes which some of you will be happy with but the truth is that doesnt mean you arent going to have new "issues" with the changes. Just let the girls play soccer!! tearing these girls apart is just stupid! Especially after the past 2 successful years together...Next year will be even more successful if they stay together! People that actually played soccer, coached, or were involved with the sport are the ones who know what I am talking about.Comment
