We get it that you love JW and CSU. Making up a bunch of rubbish that isn't even close to being true sounds like bitter jealousy. Your club has what it wants and its not Delray that you will lose players to so why you even bring them into this only shows you're worried about bashing others cause you have nothing good to say about your own program. Nobody at Delray cares what CSU is doing, they have their own club to worry about and SB is trying to do the best for his club. Let JW lead you to the promised land and Delray will never be your competition or problem.

Don't worry about either club if you are playing top level competitive soccer. Steve and Tony are great and can train and develop players. Delray just can't draw the numbers and likely never will.

JW is trying, but too little too late and CSU is a Div 2 club as the talents is all sitting 15 min away in Weston, Sunrise, and Boca. They will brag about the younger groups, etc, etc..more promises but it won't last or be competitive.

PG is really a waste. He ran off so many girls from CSU and is so arrogant.

Too much personal stuff it's supposed to be what's best for the kids not parents I would chose the resumes at AC Delray over CSU any day even if I didn't know anything about soccer in this area.

Agreed. Why people at CSU are concerned about anything going on at Delray makes no sense. Taking personal shots at PG,SB, FV and everyone else at Delray is futile considering they are not at your club. Be happy they are gone and be happy with your choice to be at CSU.

Last time I checked this thread is titled : Coral Springs United FC.

Not sure why someone from AC Delray would be posting here other than trying to convince yourself that you did or are making the right decision to leave CSUFC.

You obviously made your decision to follow PG to Delray so why don't you just turn your focus to your new club AC Delray, and stop trying to bash CSUFC to justify your reason for leaving.

Losing 1 or 2 kids to AC Delray isn't going to derail all of the good things that are happening at CSUFC. The future is very bright in Coral Springs.

Too personal for me still no answer on who. This is about kids not adults.

I had no idea parents allowed their kids to decide which club they're going to play for. Kids under 17 years old shouldn't be making these decisions.

Truthfully, if you look t the entire Delray program, what has Burgess accomplished there since he was let go from the Renegades? They can't field entire age groups and have fewer teams there than when he started. Kids on his teams routinely play on different age group teams to be able to field a team in a game. Now he sells his soul to PG, FV and RP. PG has NEVER accomplished anything in the sport. He took the group that JW built three years ago at CSU to Disney and won in the absolute lowest (rec) divisions of the tournament. When he coached at Douglas, he could never win a district despite having two US National team players on it. He won't be able to grow anything in Delray. FV and RP have been at more places that I can name and they are well traveled for a reason. I would look into their checkered history before even thinking about going there. Burgess is selling his soul to the devil because he can't get it done. If you look at the players that he has been given credit for in putting into college, how many of them actually played at AC Delray? They were developed at other local clubs and he just happened to be the recipient of scholarshipped kids into American Heritage. Their change in philosophy in offering reduced tuition is the reason why he and Alvin James aren't coming back. PG had nothing to do with their development, so don't kid yourself!

PG wouldn't know what to do with a soccer ball if it fell from the sky. He had ZERO to do with the development of the players at CSU and the 14 he was supposed to be coaching at the club he turned over to other coaches because he didn't know what to do with them. He trumpeted the success the younger teams had at Disney, but he forgot to mention the team he did "coach" went winless in three games. He is nothing but pond scum and people at CSU are grateful that the board got rid of him. Good luck AC Delray! You will need it!

Based off the glowing review of PG by a couple of posters on here I would have expected a mass exodus of kids from CSU to Delray. Not even his most over the top, breathless supporter parents in U11 are willing to take a chance on PG

Only the few that went to him that wanted better training because CSU wouldn't let them practice and play with kids on the same level. PG didn't try to get anyone to leave. He recommended they go to SAT so they would get better training and development. For someone you're happy is gone, you seem quite caught up in what he's doing. He left so enjoy your training at CSU that will be great and stop worrying about someone that you said did nothing for your club anyway. You can't be that worried about one coach and a few kids that didn't come back.
