      best idea

I think your best bet would be go to any clubs practices to see if u like them, see if u can find the coach for next year so your child can see if they like them, an talk to some of the parents on the sideline.

I like waza, I have yet to hear a coach yelling on the sidelines, parents normally seem quite from the games I have been at. an it seems to me that all their players get developed an have a good idea what is going on on the field.

Every club has problems, the challenge is to see where a club fits for you at your time available, in your budget an that your child is happy. Oh yeah, an develop., to me all are important.

Hope this helps, tryouts are only 2 weeks away!!!!

WAZA isn't the best as it used to be.

I found a post on this forum regarding WAZA soccer and his daughter. I agree with this post. We recently switched to WAZA because it was supposed to be the best. Upon signing, they "forgot" to communicate the fact that Winter Training and Tournaments were no longer included in the registration fee (1800 dollars). Further, the team my child is placed on is terrible and comprised primarily of Rec players that wanted to come play travel. It's at a level where the team is getting blown out and now my child is not even wanting to play. My child has played travel for 3 years now and is a very good player. However, I believe WAZA created the current team as a revenue generator. The team doesn't have good players, and the team has not won a game yet. I would not suggest WAZA at the point in time.

Waza East has two very strong teams in U10 & U11 divisions - - they typically are pretty strong and get stronger (and more physical) the older they get. They play a VERY physical game - sometimes a little over the top.
