What about the girls program, daughter thinking of trying out? Seems they signed up for tournaments but didn't go. Is it due to injury?

Depends on the age - If you want a good girls program and don't want to go to FKK or OCYS, then go to Clermont. They have a better girls program than boys.

Mike Lemos runs their academy and they have good coaches.

I would not go to Rush for a girls program.

ACYS is actually falling apart. It's only a matter of time when they become basically a rec club. Same thing with FC America. In a few years the only real big competitive clubs in Orlando will be OCYS, FKK & Rush.

OCYS and FKK - maybe, but Rush - no way.

With La Liga moving into their backyard (Disney) and all the other Brazilian "academies" forming around them (Ronaldo, GGS, etc.) their best days are behind them.

I also don't think ACYS is anything special - if they were so many coaches wouldn't leave. ES has the other coaches develop the teams and then when they get really good, he always finds a way to weasel his way onto the coaching staff.

FYI

WFF did not have an East Lake Split. WFF is still both Brandon and East Lake + now Players Club Affiliation. WFF still uses all the fields at the East Lake Sports Complex and the East Lake Meadows.

WFF had a small fraction break away, but this was what used to be a very small club in Palm Harbor, who's fields are now used by TBU. 2-3 teams are being run out of there.
