Who cares if you see club rosters, it's only for your benefit? As a teen parent of a top boys team we are not the only ones looking to move to FKK ECNL. We see the benefit of ECNL especially with the addition of other top teams into the SE region including the likes of FL Elite. Why would you stay with an academy team playing GCF, CDL and FSPL. If FKK delivers on their ECNL promise most of the teams will be fine and attract others, better then being at OCYS who promotes most of their purple 1 to ECNL and does not go out to find players. Just as an FYI our son made OCYS ECNL but when we saw the make up of mostly Purple 1 players declined for obvious reason that the purple 1 team sucked this past season (see 03 state cup). Seemed like OCYS wanted to keep their players from leaving before they even had a look at tryouts.
ACYS is actually falling apart. It's only a matter of time when they become basically a rec club. Same thing with FC America. In a few years the only real big competitive clubs in Orlando will be OCYS, FKK & Rush.
Those WFF's County fields don't really sweeten the deal. Have you been there lately?
Any fields have value, but what really happened, and the real value here, was WFF's bank account, which is still robust despite the East Lake split and loss of collier (since they kept all the $ in both of those deals).
RS shopped his U12 DA around to just about every club in town looking for 2 things, players for the DA since his prized players left en masse to Clearwater's DA instead of theirs, and a guaranteed salary. WFF doesn't have much in terms of quality players in the U11/U12 age group, but they think with the DA carrot they can build that up in a year or two if the terrible results don't result in a loss of the DA. But what they did have was enough $$ to make the prior bad blood disappear as they could guarantee a salary as high as TBU was offering without requiring him to fold his team into an existing program. So... the deal was done and announce this weekend. Given their location to TBU and IMG, I'm skeptical they will build it into anything good. With what they had, they'd be a second division non-DA team in the area so they are basically building from nothing after the best players have already gone to TBU or CC. And WFF adds another high paid person who is looking to make $$, so from that perspective, it seems like a good fit to me.

Makes sense..
What will be interesting to see if WFF can add to the DA age groups in the coming years. I do not foresee WFF ever getting full DA on the boys side, but maybe additional age groups are in the works for future years.
