OCYS Dominates Armada Boys at Battle at the Beaches Tournament
Why did the ocys boys have success against almost all armada teams in Jacksonville?
1 - Their top tier teams played against armada's 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams...
2 - Florida Elite did not register any team for this tournament...
3 - Armada playing teams up to fill in brackets...
4 - Divisional placement for additional games...
5 - Armada games scheduled Friday night without proper communication...
6 - $ grab for the club
7 - Complete lack of organization within Armada and Ponte Vedra Soccer Club...
8 - Rec tournament...
9 - End of season tournament with tryouts not completely finalized...
10 - Armada Directors nowhere to be seen...
List goes on...

Pickett will be coaching the Florida Elite 2001 ECNL and the 2002 ECNL teams. The 2002 team won State Cup, but he is cutting half the girls and bringing in new players for ECNL. Does anyone know how many players can be put on an ECNL team and how many can be rostered for an ECNL game?Comment

I wouldn't say Davie played better soccer. They are the top ranked team in the state and had very few chances. ACYS who also played 120 min on Saturday, should have won that game in regular time with way more shots on goal.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
It was a very evely matched game. Davie is a strong team with a few strong players but ACYS was more fit, had a deeper/stronger bench and a stronger defense. Defense wins championships.Comment

If a girl is already in high school, she can continue to play with an approved waiver from the club. Rising 8th graders into high school, cannot play. Only exception is certain private schools.Comment
