Boca United will have to face the fact at some point that the parents are going to run this show.... If they are going after players like BBK they want to win they dont want to loose every DA game ...... BU is about to be faced with a transition they have never seen and will have to bend or face loosing players for ever ..... Simple since they do not develop players they will have to bend if they want players from other clubs..... Parents will soon run this club very soon !

The fine is $3000 plus $1000 paid to the opponent. Don't think any club or team wants to pay that.

One of the coaches that they list as an Academy Head Coach, only has "C" & "D" coaching licenses. Don't you need to have at least a USSF "B" license in order to be an Academy coach?

It is a fact that Christian Lavers told many coaches and club DOC's that he was sincerely sorry for accepting Boca united into the ECNl. He actually stated that he knew Chung and had a lot of faith in his philosophy and thought that with the ECNL tab BU could be a good ECNL club. But he went on to say that he never imagined how much a club in one area could be so disliked and unsupported by the surrounding area clubs and that was what he felt was the real reason that Boca united was so unsuccessful and in his word "pitiful". He said that in the future they will look much more closely at the respect that other clubs have for prospective ECNL clubs and also make sure that new ECNL clubs have a history of being successful clubs unlike Boca united. He personally stated that he doesn't want any south florida ECNL clubs after the Boca United fiasco. This is the exact problem that Boca united will have as a DA. Unless he gets ALL the surrounding clubs to support BU DA they will fall flat and be a disgraceful DA like they have been with the boys. Thats really the whole problem is that no other club director of coaching or Board of Directors will ever support BU because they have never won anything never developed anyone and they are a really weak level club with a poor staff.

The ECNL President apologized to other club DOCs and then publicly defamed not only a specific club, but also an individual person? Big steaming pile of bullsh!t.

What club are you working for to run this crap propoganda? Obviously you complete with BU and are seriously affected by their actions. If you are so worried about BU, your club must really be in the sh!tter.

I would bet there is no consequence. FYSA can fine the club, but the club is powerless. What are you going to do if the players/parents don't play? Put them as NOT IN GOOD STANDING and hold their player pass?

I don't know if it is enforced or to what extent. I wouldn't think FYSA would penalize the players. I would think it would be club that takes the hit although I don't know in what form. Maybe ban them from playing state cup next year or something along those lines.

Affiliates may be fined for teams withdrawing from the State Cup competition, failing to show for a scheduled match, player, coach or team misconduct, etc. All withdrawals or disqualifications after the entry deadline will result in automatic forfeiture of entry fee. The minimum fines for the following offenses shall be as follows:
A. Failing to show for a scheduled match with no or less than a one week’s notification: $3,000 plus $1,000 paid to each team they were scheduled to play.

Rules state the club gets fined. They also may have to put up a 1000 participation bond for every team the following state cup(s).

The issue is that the U.S. youth academies pick the bigger players, regardless of technical skills, or those with the intangibles that can't be readily taught, only refined. Thus you get The MLS players that we currently see. We need to scout much better at the youth level to afford the opportunities to the right players, and let the height thing sort itself out once they are competitive.

HOW CAN A CLUB FORCE PLAYERS TO PLAY? The club is powerless if half the team quits & they have to forfeit. The club gets fined, the players are DONE in the FYSA system and leave for college.

Stick with me here, I'm typing slowly so you can sound out the words.

Even FYSA (as dense as they are) understand that the club cannot force a team that is facing certain elimination to play a game on which they want to quit. FYSA can fine the club, but the players walk away scot free.

He got it end of last year. There was a "grace period' for the new DA clubs to get their requirements to include proper fields in which BU is till working on.
