I left that club three years ago because there wasn't any good coaches.... ED is a good coach, but you are lucky to see him once a year.

JAYFC is chock full of fantastic coaches!

Vanja T. (Long last name)- Disney Showcase Champion; developer of top 03 and 04 talent
Bobby Shea- Danone Cup Champion; GREAT technical developer of younger ages
Tommy K- Current 03 DA coach; one of the top teams in Florida for 03.
Pat Cannon- A license, former college coach, current 02 DA coach, DA director.
Carlos M- A license, former director of NY Red Bull's YA, Current U12 DA coach
Leto A- A license, current U12 DA assistant coach
Mike Walker- Multiple National Championships, developed a ton of D1 players, coaches some of the best current ECNL teams in the country, enough said
Eric Dade- A license, former college coach, former interim Armada coach, multiple championships won on many levels, ALWAYS at the park, I've literally seen him EVERY night this week out at the fields.

There are MANY other fantastic coaches at JAYFC. They are the biggest reason for all of the success over the years, and they should all be commended! A club doesn't obtain DA, or what was the "real" ECNL if it doesn't have a great roster of coaches!

actually.....we are in OC-DA, not getting much playing time and we are considering a change. We don't pay a dime though. We do like DA and want to stay on that path, just not if the fees (+travel) outprice us, we will ride it out here if so.

If you really were OC-DA, and considering a change, you would've attended one of the Armada DA iD Clinics to get a look and be seen. However, there were no OC-DA kids at any clinics. Plenty of FESA, PDA, some from GA, G-ville, etc, and a few from Clay, but none from OC. You are trolling, and we all know it.

Cannon and Tommy K are fleecing the beaches area kids. It is all about money. Poor leadership, elites, and can't develop or win games. Plus they are *********s. Leto and Carlos should be running the DA.

Cannon and Tommy are NOT fleecing anyone. Please explain how that is exactly. They provide camps in the Summer for a fee. It is a service and it is MORE than worth it. Best camps for serious players for the $ in the area by far. Other camps are great too, but not as serious and don't draw as high level players.
Can't win games? Seriously? Have you looked at the DA website lately to see how the 02's and 03's have performed? Both teams have wins over every other DA club in the state this year. They both are one of the top DA teams in the state for their age group, and they play every week against REAL competition.
Leto and Carlos are great too. Just look how well the 04/05 group has done.
Bottom line, if you really want to know the truth about these coaches come out to a training session and talk to the parents of current DA players. I happen to be one of them, and I can honestly say that for the first time in my life as a soccer parent there is very little, if any, complaints or negativity towards the coaches/program. Quite refreshing I must say!

You have to be joking. The low fee is what makes DA work. It shows you that the club is actually invested in your kid, not about how much $$ it is making from you. if its a regular fee, now you are paying big bucks for sub-par coaching and your beloved DA title.

"IF" the club were to lose funding from the pro team, again I say "IF", then who exactly do you suppose should be the ones to pay to support the DA program? Even though I am a DA parent, I wouldn't want other families fees to increase to support the DA program. That wouldn't be fair to the rest of the club. The club isn't looking to make $ from DA families, but it does HAVE to cover the costs of the DA program.
"Sub-par" coaching"? You are a joke, and that's already been answered in previous posts.
"Beloved DA title"? Until you experience the value, exposure, quality, and development of the DA program yourself, you can't possibly understand just how much better it really is. For anyone that has a kid that wants to play for USMNT, D1, or possibly even pro, there really is no better pathway! Just look at the players being called into national team camps, getting D1 scholarships, or signing to play overseas. The overwhelming majority of them are DA players. Those are the facts!

interested to know if you KNOW this to be true! have you seen the licenses? When my son was at JFC TK didn't have any licenses and that was only 2 years ago.
