Why can't we close the gap on Armada?
It always seems like there is so much hype at FESA, but when you really look at it we are still very far behind JAYFC to be the top club in N Florida. I mean, we have the $, we have the #'s, and we have the volt, but Armada has the top leagues, gets multiple kids into training Centers and National Team camps, has lots of D1 scholarship players signing every year, and has a much better reputation of development and professionalism than we have at FESA. Why can't we seem to close that gap at all? It certainly doesn't help that we have trolls on this site that literally do nothing all day long but make up ridiculous lies about JFC/Armada. It just makes us look like we are classless. That and the kickball style of play, coaches yelling out everything for the players to do and constantly yelling at the refs, and all of the shady tryout rules make us look desperate. I guess maybe we are. Our slogan should be "WE ARE FLORIDA ELITE, and we are desperate"!Comment

Armada plays DA on the boys side, so you will be playing the B teams for boys. Armada will also SUPPORT (something FESA knows nothing about) its best girls to tryout for DA if that's what they want to do. That is your opinion and you are entitled to it as others can have theirs. DA and ECNL boys are just different. DA may be a decent path for those boys who don't want to play high school sports. For most boys to the south of Jax, DA isn't what they are looking for and willing to drive for, therefore ECNL may be a better path. None of it matters as long as the boys are enjoying what they are doing along the soccer journey. Same with the girls side.
