Most of the high level travel teams will have players out at some point because of injuries. Can the players buy into a larger roster of 22 with the understanding that they will have more for full practice scrimmages, but every player will have to not dress for a few games? Do the players like the flexibility of being able to take a week off for the SAT test or a family function without feeling their are no backup players?

Big Announcement reported by "Unregistered". Good source to hold JAFCYA to. Come on Man!!! Be smarter than that.
NE Florida ECNL will be watered down. Nobody that matters at JAFCYA has said DA is any lesser than ECNL. Only thing is that it is newer and less established for GDA. In a few years it will be what ECNL is today or was yesterday.
Stop trying to fart an elevator and walk out before the door closes.

That doesn't mean they think it is any less. It's just another opportunity to play on another top level team. GDA is growing. It will not go from 0-100 in one season.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostBTW, was told tonight this doesn't happen at Armada/JFC. Roster is set around 18 players with maybe 1 or 2 players that are DP's but are primary to the second team. Confirmed that info with several current ECNL parents. I won't stand for my kid getting jerked around at FESA.

A player who lives further away might be better off just making the regular team roster and working out a deal with the club/coach to not have to attend every team practice because of the travel distance.

Liking this Saturday April Fools day tryout instead of the evenings. It is not so crowded for parking or paying because the tryout times are spread out throughout the day.

FESA should take more players than needed. Some may drop off for other offers or drop off during the season. Why send them away without any options?

Not only that but FESA is letting A players walk out the door over to JFC and Clay where they will gladly take them in. FESA, think smart, and build the A team depth or get creative and dual roster them on the A team with a believable sales pitch and hold to your word. Have the players know the A and B teams will practice together and work together to raise the tide for both teams. If there is no acceptable B team to place the player, then put 22 on a roster. It makes for good 11v11 scrimmage and every player will understand sitting out a game or two for the betterment of the future.

JFC is losing players to Clay's DA and why help JFC restock its ECNL teams by cutting talent at FESA?
