Why than do we not have enough kids trying out? All the drama and power struggles left us
with the reputation we deserve. We need to clean this up.

Parkland talent is now all over Broward and Palm Beach County leaving the club a shell of its former self. They might have only a couple of girls team at best and maybe a couple of boys teams . I heard not one U-8,U-9,U-10,U-11, showed up on the girls side and a few U-12 and U-13s .Remember Parkland Cares! about a couple of families that is.

Any feedback on the rising U13 boys at Parkaland. Thinking about trying out but not sure. Last season's u12 record looks a bit weak. Who's the coach, is he any good?

Team Boca U-13 boys is strongest team in the area. Parkland was weak last year.

Dont think they will have enough kids for a u-13 team as most have left , along with every other age group .They might have four teams in total and thats a living on a prayer. The Grim Reaper has spread hid bad karma all over this club!and the idiots on the board are dumb stupid and ignorant to realize it.Think about this a couple of years ago they had about 15 teams now maybe 4 .At least they can rent out field space to make up the lost revenue they will have plenty to give.

              soccer is last!

Travel soccer has been treated like a step child in Parkland for years and as long as this is the attitude, you cant expect a 1st rate team. teams r moved around to the crappiest, remote fields sometimes without even having a goal. Rec. soccer, field hockey, u name it gets fields over travel teams. we pay good money 4 what? to pick apples from the bottom of the barrel. wake up, they dont want travel soccer in parkland or they wouldnt be trying so hard to run us off.

I agree that Parkland has not treated travel soccer as very important but the board should shoulder most of the blame for that. The Predator board is a trainwreck and they have nobody to blame but themselves. The city can now justify treating the Predators like a second class citizens. If you owned a car dealership; which cars would you put inside the glass building...the new ones that work or the trade-ins? The city is going to put its best foot forward and the Predators are not that foot.

As an aside, Pele, Tevez, Messi, Drogba...they all grew up poor and didn't even have pitches to play on... You say you aren't getting your money's worth? That's a different story and you can blame that on the board. They are disorganized and have a bad reputation. They can no longer attract quality trainers. Nothing about the club is good and now they have been relegated.

Yes, we pay taxes high taxes in Parkland and our parks and rec turned club soccer over to one mom and 2 married couples with a grand total of zero years playing experience. Other than the gal who grew up in England, I venture to guess that the other 4 parent board members first full soccer match was when their little ones played their first U6 rec games. I do blame parks and rec for not taking action against the board.

BTW...this is really old hat so let's not redo the whole "why the predators suck" thing again. Just understand, the fields have little to do with the development of players. Just ask Chicharito.

I know...but the post refers to the city and it's decisions of the past. They have done nothing since to make amends.

The current President might want to consider at this point stepping down. This job is simply over her head no fault of her own , its just a new world with the *******s that live in Parkland. The rec President was smart enough as she has a window to leave .The numbers for tryouts were embarrassing and disgraceful and the club and Board should be ashamed of themself .Why these three are hanging is a mystery to all, please step down for the the good of all concerned.

I agree that there needs to be better turnouts but there were plenty of u9/10 boys and u12/13 girls...other than that, the rest has been pretty pathetic

There will only be enough for one team between U/12/13 girls and the boys could scape together 2 teams ,I think pathetic is the correct term. The question is what do you do with the board?

I disagree about the number. The younger boys have had the largest turnout. I bet there will be at U10 and maybe two u9s. There were plenty of girls as well so there will probably be a U12 and U13. Let's just wait and see what happens this week. Regardless, I agree that it is pathetic that the numbers for all age groups are not substantially larger.

More than 170 players (U8-U12 y.o.) tried out for SAT. More than 100 registered to train at least 1 day per week with them.

Don't know about "trying out". They will take anyone so they can pad their bank accounts.
