US Soccer is incompetent. What a boneheaded move? The Dos Santos brothers, Lacazette and many others played at Danone.

That great center mid Simmons from Barca won it playing for France. All the top players in the world apart from America go to Danone.

The fact that the mods are removing threads that are on-topic, fact-based, and civil is evidence that they delete anything that paints their own favorite club in a bad light, or worse, anything that they simply don't like personally.
The thread deletions on this site are impulsive and arbitrary. Viewers won't tolerate that. RIP Talking Soccer.

WFF Forgets East Lake Again...
West Florida Flames is pleased to announce that Players Club of Tampa Bay and West Florida Flames have reached an agreement to affiliate the two clubs into one soccer operation. (They've tried before and failed.)
This is a tremendous opportunity for our community, players, and families in Brandon, Hillsborough County (No mention of East Lake????). The affiliation increases opportunities for players by providing access to leagues to help them continue to enhance their development and growth to reach higher levels, including exposure to USSF National Team coaches and scouts. (Forget access to leagues, how about access to better coaching?)
Both organizations’ commitment to growth within US Soccer’s Development Academy programming, the synergy between the clubs, its facilities, geographic location (East Lake 50+ miles away) and commitment to provide the best opportunities for the players, made for the most logical decision to create an affiliation. This affiliation provides the best model for our players to reach their full soccer potential with access and exposure to higher level leagues and coaches. (Players Club doesn't have senior teams and WFF never qualifies for high level leagues)
West Florida Flames was recently awarded US Soccer’s Girls’ Development Academy and together both organizations will work as one to continue to add additional age groups to US Soccer Boys Development Academy. The goal is to enhance our programming by working towards full junior ages (U12, U13, U14) within US Soccer’s Boys Development Academy in 2018-2019 season and beyond. (Not going to happen, if anything WFF will lose Girls DA)
If you're living in North Pinellas County why would you want to play for a club that continues to ignore you and treat you like an after thought. The BOD wonders why WFF East Lake tryout numbers were pathetic. All their players left for West Pasco, Tarpon, TBU or FC Tampa, we did.
