True, but if coaches have never gone on to gain more knowledge than not even being able to play in high school, they will be lost!

I agree with this post. He was a good guy that was working to better the club, he will be missed by many. Just ask around the fields and many parents will tell you the same.

It was just too good to be true, they didn't know who coach would be, and the other parents we know at the club complain incessantly how awful it is.

                  2. Coaching - A coach who runs solid training sessions, and shows consistent growth in his player's individual performance, as well as team performance.

                  3. Players - Players actually enjoy playing with each other, push each other to get better.

It is not hard to build a solid foundation for retaining players and even having players want to play at your club...some clubs will lose players because a player will get a legitimate better opportunity in another club (higher league play, more exposure), but for 90% of the players, that will have little impact.

Be honest, hire the best coaches you can, and focus on training.
Agree on everything but you also need to show results at U15 and above.
If no results on U15-U18 teams, your club development is lacking. You can talk all you will about development but if it never leads to any results, what are you really offering?

Parents at our club say we now have both girls and boys DA?

It would make sense that USSF could grant or take away DA from any club at any time.

Do you go to tournaments that you can't win?

I was having a discussion with someone the other day about tournaments? Should you enter tournaments if you know you have no change in winning?
I understand playing better teams will help make your team better.
I also understand entering tournaments that you know you can be competitive and have a chance to win.

                        What do you think?

If possible perhaps you can choose a tournament with different levels. Like CASL, Disney at the top and even smaller tournaments they have different champions at each skill level within age groups.

So region 3 champions and state cup champions is "putos." National league third place is also "putos." God damn, there are very stupid people in this world.
