With those reasoning skills you are brillant. MC does not nor has he ever trained for VE. Please get your facts straight. If he does not have any direct contact with your child why do you care so much what he does? Everyone is so focused on MC and I just wonder why?

lol - you guys seriously make me laugh out loud... Why are we obsessed with MC and RC ? Why do you think? It is a small community (soccer) and everyone knows that BOTH of them are not the nicest people in the world. One isn't allowed to coach/train because of his criminal background, while the other one runs a pseudo quality club, and coaches at a div 3 HS and helps at a comm college, which has kids leaving or moving to other sports because of HIM - RICK!!. lol - I also know for a FACT (because I was close to the action and knew one of the kids - true not MY kid, but a kid I talk to all the time...) that Rick pressured particular girls from his HS team to train with his brother.. THAT IS A FACT. And that Rick pressured particular girls from his HS team to try out for VE.. THAT IS A FACT. These facts can be easily confirmed by talking to the girls - which the AD didn't do, mostly because he really didn't want to, because he didn't want to take action, which would have meant he was a man who believes in integrity, and confronting snakes and liars... And guess what - now two out of the three athletes we are talking about are going to play softball in the spring, because of Rick - because of Rick - Lamphere will lose two very good soccer players, as well as two other girls (a junior and a senior, the senior was a starting jr last year), to softball, only because of Rick and the way he treated the girls, and the team last year. Rick may have been a great coach in the past, or may have come upon great talent in the past (more likely) but today he doesn't know people or how to motivate young people, this is a fact because they are running from his teams everywhere he is... So, it is not all about our obsession with his brother Mark...

To the poster who is "confused" and asks "Everyone is so focused on MC and I just wonder why?' and "why do you care so much what he (MC) does?" - please reread Girard's Detroit News articles on him. They can be found in this thread. Or get a transcript of his 1999 GA trial or the one from his 1994 MI trial. Or ask yourself why you would get on a youth soccer forum and defend him.

Don't forget the second lawsuit he brought against MSYSA in 2004. Now that was a three-ring circus! Can you believe it - not once but twice suing the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association! Hmmm, 1994, 1999, 2004...looks like some kind of legal soccer mess every five years. Does anyone else see a pattern here? What's in store for 2009?

how about a cell phone picture of he who is not be be named training players at macomb community college two years ago with his and this club we are talking about together? even though it was the indoor season?

Yeah finally now we cannot get erased either!!!! :D

The TE club and their DOC/ coaches will eventually get what they deserve. The truth will set you free.

There is a list of about 30 players with names of players from 5 different clubs that were being poached by TE parents and Curtis Ward. MYSL called in the TE clan at the end of the spring. The TE coaches were placed on probabtion for the next two years....

Now this list is used to see which players on the list are actually registered with TE for this fall... FACT most of them registered with TE after they were given free training for a year.

As we speak two more clubs are writing/ or have witten already to MYSL and the MSYSA after entire teams were called repeatedly during the spring season to attend TE training sessions and pre try out sessions. Makes you think twice about entering in to the TE tournament and turning in your roster to them does't it?

Oh yeah and that VARDAR EAST GU11 coach, who was already supended once by MYSL for 6 months after playing an overage player to win a game while at Fraser, and who was fired after getting caught poaching 97 girls for TE and claimed he was not going to coach for TE next year guess what team he is coaching .... yes the U12 (97) for TE.... He fits in well with their coaching staff. Winning at all cost (remember the indoor nationals debacle?), use players from older teams to win games, and steal players from other clubs is after all their motto.

How long will MYSL let this go on?

Prediction: they will get suspended before the fall season is over. What will you do when the coach is not alowed to train your kid anymore?

You are just upset because you paid jm off and he didn't go away quietly. Remember, he doesn't have a criminal record. Also, bringing false charges against coach coaches (to the police) will bring back bad karma to YOU ---YES?
