The best soccer team.....IN THE WORLD!
Alliance F.C. upset Oregon Rush, who were rated #2 in the Pacific Region. Bradley Dunwell lead the team, scoring from a corner kick off a great service from Costa Wells. The insurance goal was scored with 12 minutes to play by Costa Wells. The Barack brothers played very well, adding skill and composure to the victory. Jake Townsley made two great saves to keep the shut out.

Alliance Academy F.C. raced out to a 2-0 lead twenty minutes into the match. Only to have a goalkeeper (Jake Townsley) error and a total defensive collapse before halftime. Finally losing 3-2 that result may knock the boy’s from the quarter finals. Lucas Simonds was the lone bright spot in a very nasty and physical game against the Vegas Soccer Team.

Alliance F.C finished training and seems focused for a good performance against Pachuca Interamerica, a strong team who has had a few bad breaks this far in the tournament. A four to zero win would put the Alliance into the playoffs.

Alliance Academy played their best game of the tournament winning 2-0 against a regional ranked CCV Stars. Bradley Dunwell and Conner Davison scored. The team worked together extremely well throughout the tournament. Overcoming a difficult draw and very hot weather. We are all proud of the boy’s performance.

Tournament Wrap up
While the Alliance Academy u13 Boys did not advance at the President's Day Cup, they walked away from this prestigious tournament with a respectable 3-1 record. Their only loss come at the hands of the eventual tournament champions (VSA) and they beat three ranked teams. Further proving their competence, the Michigan boys were the only team to score on VSA in their 3-2 seesaw group match.
Congratulations to Luis, Bradley, Isaac, Patryk, Lukas, Derek, Connor, Jake, Vicent, Jamal, Jake, Dean, Costa, Joseph, Donovan, Luis, and Coach Mark on a successful trip.

Alliance team looks pretty good from what I have been told. Good luck to em! MC must train em and Zsolt coaches em at the games MC can't. We all know the story. Who cares! Rock on boys!!!

Why would a DOC allow a USYSA disqualified coach to work with his club's players? Doesn't say much for the DOC's ethics.
