A team in crisis even before the regular starts? Very disappointing showing at ECNL National Playoffs with an 0-3 record, after an over-hyped and complacent season. They rebranded their preseason showcase from Virginia Friendlies (which was a title reasonable and neutral with regular preseason implications) to the Virginia Super Cup (with more of an elite competition expectation) then proceeded to lose both games by a total of 0 goals for and 10 goals against. Bethesda and VA Union absolutely steam rolled them to the point where the coach had to have an emergency meeting two days afterwards. The losing continued with the first game of the season against Charlotte SA. Has VDA been found out as a 1-trick team? How did they get 6 invites to the Regional ID? Will the coach last the season? Since the Mid Atlantic has 5 playoffs spots, VDA will just barely qualify but post season results will be the same as this past summer.

Teams have figured out who the ball is going to everytime. The player's parent shouts it out in every transition. It seems like they will have a harder time this season compared to last, especially against the top and mediocre competition.

For whatever reason people over there love their coach. VDA IMO has always been a one trick pony. They play a direct style and as previously mentioned, they tend to always play directly to the same players over and over again.

This aged like milk.
VDA beat and tied Union 2010 when the league games were played.
The coach that should’ve been sent to PWSI? Head coach of 3 Champions League ECNL qualifiers (2009s finished top 10 nationally two years in a row). VDA had 4 Champions League ECNL wudkifers. This was the most in Virginia.
