Barrington has zero talent. I've seen every game but 1 and it's tough to watch.

Reading this made laugh. So I assume you are a Barrington parent/family member otherwise would you see all the games but one. So what's wrong with your kid? You including them in your "no talent" decree. If you are not a parent/family of player on team, why do feel compelled to watch all their games which is like 9 games at this point? ***?

I'm a parent of another team but have friends with kids on that team. There is talent actually, but, they are also very young as was stated before, and also from what I've heard, have like 4-5 starters out with injury. Lost season for them for sure, but hopefully your no talent kid gets a chance to get some extra playing time.

How can he? He coaches something 345,567 club teams for NEFC. Spends a lot of quality time with each player too.

He is involved at RI ODP too. My kids have never have had him as a coach directly, but both they and I like him. Seems very nice, and have heard good things about his coaching.

That said, I don't think his leaving Bayview has anything to do with their struggles. I think he knew when to get out. RB has his work cut out for him there for the next few years.

How come BV doesn't get the Club players like LSA? You would think they would.

Lsa has the cache now as the "it" private school in RI for sports. LSA has great athletic facilities and successful programs. If your kid is serious about sports then LSA is where to send them. BV has become a second tier private school. BV doesn't have the facilities or the track record to match LSA. Hendricken is on the same level as LSA.

Literally following the same exact path of 2014. Playing very competitive thru their first six games. Lost to Portsmouth in the last three minutes, and let a victory against Bayview get away in the last three minutes. Little snake-bitten. Last week was an opportunity with winnable games against SK, Prout and EWG. Gave up an early goal against SK then played really well but lost 1-0. The Prout game had to be seen to be believed. Prout keeper credited with over 20 saves. The entire second half on one side of the field. LHS kept pushing with a 1-1 score until one minute left and Prout scored on a breakaway. Comical. EWG game, so very ugly - Lincoln just gave up. Started the week 2-3-1 with solid playoff hopes, ended the week 2-6-1 and has to deal with Lasalle today. Only discussion left for Lincoln is what will happen next year.

What will happen next year? New coach? Why does the Lincoln middle school do so well year after year only to tank at the HS level? Lost to lasalle 3-0 tonight.

Maybe but When he took over at bayview they were awful. Suddenly bayview was in two straight final fours. Doesn't just happen. Good coaching can help. I'll take him instead of our coach please!!

It'll be a 1-1 tie. Neither will mount much of an offense and the goals will come off mistakes. Had Lincoln been able to maintain its middle school superiority, and with a half decent coach this game would be moot, Lincoln would be all alone on top.

The NK coach seems to come up a lot on this thread. Did anyone at NK or club ever check on his soccer cred's to be sure they're legit? Maybe he's one of those coaches who "played at a high level" that no one can confirm??? Easy enough to call US Soccer to check on licenses, or lack of. Same would go for all the other coaches out there!

Another loss for NK 2 - 1 to Mt Hope.... tailspin..... couldn't happen to a better coach.

2-2 tie tonight. LaSalle capitalized on a mistake and bad clearance on a pk. Kudos to them for finishing those two chances. Besides that, Lasalle was totally outplayed by Smithfield. LSA seems to only kick the ball forward and try to outrun the backs. That didn't work at all. Smithfield on the other hand builds their attack from the back and works the ball up the flanks and through the middle nicely with tight combinations and footwork. At times in the second half LSA was playing with 6 backs and Smithfield was still finding passing lanes and using little combinations to get through them.

If not for Smithfields slow start and a couple of bad bounces, this game would have been heavily one sided. Gotta give LSA credit for Capitalizing on those few chances though.
