I think EWG, EG and SK are stronger than at least 2 maybe 3 of your selections. May I guess that you don't travel into South County much??
I'm curious about EWG. New head coach and lost some good players.

      Core Players

Instead of worrying about MKM or a few specific players would love to hear nucleus perspective of top 5 players per team and assessment of streengths / weakness. Time to clean it up and make this a valuable chat room instead of a snipe fest. Dontcha think..

Sounds like you are trying to bait someone, as soon as someone replies about their team you will say something about their mom/dad..... Don't take the bait!!!

Who knows the "top 5" players on each team?

With respect to girls soccer, most teams in the middle/upper tier are still an injury or two by top players away from slipping down..especially Cumberland as noted by previous poster.

Portsmouth was more than MKM, but the more was primarily now departed seniors and without MKM, there is always the slip when so much of your scoring went through the same few players and those players leave..watch EG fall this year. EWG was able to work through that a bit last year, but always tough when a new coach comes in (see North Kingstown and even South Kingstown)..

LSA even had that issue since the MMs left, but when you have the best defense in the state, you can win your games 1-0..that is not as much but they still have some of the best defenders/midfielders and of course, the best ability to reload in the state..but LSA has come back to the pack (upper tier, but still back), especially as the team is now fully a product of the current coach.

Lasalle's keeper was very overrated probably only had 20 saves all year because of the defense. Not saying she was bad but she was nothing special.

She can't be that bad if URI wants her. Also didn't she played for Stars of Mass ECNL team. Can't many Rhodies have that kind of resume.

              Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!

                  Very good keeper

She was a very good keeper, but she's graduated now so the discussion on a HS thread should be about who is actually playing now in HS. Does LaSalle have a good keeper now? Don't think any of the older Bayside keepers play at LaSalle. EWG has a good keeper, all state last year. Not sure about other D1s.

every Rhodie player that played ECNL (or that played on any MA team) is now on a D1 team somewhere, whether it's BC, Syracuse, HC, UVM, or Loyola.

LaSalle is going to run away with it this year on both boys and girls sides. None of the public schools can play with LaSalle.

Okay, here we go. Sure both will in the mix for the top spot, but it would be a story if they weren't given the school size and geographic reach (and the fact they recruit for sports..)

On the boys side, LaSalle lost more games last year alone than the previous 3 years combined. Makes a difference when you can't use your 19 yr old 5th year "seniors"..

Girls - LaSalle benefits from the fact the girls' side opts for the geographic schedule and they are in the easiest overall group..but their defense kept them at 1 loss 5 ties instead of more losses..not sure they have the offense (only 30 goals and they play Lincoln and CW twice each!) but the defense will keep them at/near the top.

EWG - interesting with new coach, they gave up as many goals as they scored despite a very good GK..may have a couple of top players, but not much in the pipeline and suspect on defense..
