I can't, for the life of me understand how you can predict a LSA vs BVA final. How do you expect the very suspect. Offense of BVA to get past NK and their almost assured Allstate goal keeper. Sure they scored goals against weaker defenses but against a good goal keeper and a strong D they couldn't put the ball in the net. EG will face NK in the semis on that side of the brackets. LSA should breeze thru on the other side.

You're confused--the "almost assured Allstate goalkeeper" plays for LSA. NK has allowed more goals than most lower seeded teams. Not sure how many LSA has allowed. Isn't it a pretty low number?? BVA 3 - NK 0.

Not really sure how anyone could think this is anything other than the most unpredictable D1 playoffs of the last 5 years? There is no dominant team or player. Any team 1-10 seed can beat any other on any given night. Anyone who says anything else is just expressing their own wishful thinking; and yes, I have a kid on one of these teams. If you think 1 goal wins in RI girls soccer mean your team is dramatically superior and on a roll to the final with ease, you're delusional. Buckle up, buttercups, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

Not confused at all, LSA goal keeper isnt an almost assured allstater, she is an allstater. She hasn't given up 1 goal all year, not to take away any credit from the LSA defense because any team that goes the whole year unscored upon is pretty special, so you are correct, 0 is a pretty low number. But NK goalkeeper has done it without the LSA defense in front of her. Thats remarkable, for BVA to score 3 goals they might need a 12th player if you know what I mean.

"NK is an average team" , all of D1 is average. You're insane if you think some of these games are going to be blow outs outside of your 6 vs 11 or 5 vs 12 slots. Most of the games that will be played will be very close and well played. As far as bragging, I wasn't bragging, I was just giving accolades to a couple of girls who obviously worked their tails off this year so lighten up pal and take a pill. Not everyone is always as negative as you. Cheer up buddy and just enjoy your daughter's soccer matches.

FYI, the final was BVA 2-0 NK. The last goal was on a last run in the final minute as NK pressed forward to try to equalize. Bloviate all you want, but get your facts straight.

clever. Smithfield could not beat any team seeded above 7th. They beat a weak NK, their only other wins were against the bottom half teams. I'm sure EG is shaking.

I have to admit it. I've been following these threads for years now and this has to be some of the most entertaining post i have ever read. Not really that knowledgeable about soccer but very entertaining nonetheless. Bravo, I haven't posted for weeks now up until now but just had to let you fine people know that you're all truly gifted.
