HS soccer coaches, trained ones, know that they need to have practices that incorporate FIFA stretching and prevention, agility and plyometrics. You can’t just have two hour scrimmages as practices. Ideally these players are getting a whole lot of fitness as well as technical ball mastry. The coaches need to look at the ECNL older kids training. They play two games every other weekend, or one game a week, 3 practices a week, and a couple rest days. High School coaches can prevent west and tear by training in the same fashion, but they don’t. Often HS players show up to ECNL winter trainings and spring season with bodies trashed post playoffs. This shortens the career for future high level players. This also risks college opportunities to play for those ECNL players. Our kids ECNL coach does not like the high school season because depending where your daughter plays the risks of serious injury never mind burnout is big.

Scorpions get a discount at the DonJoy store and the Stars are filming Terminator 4 with all the metal out there.
