Yeah, u15... Already trained by Surf staff, now wants more college exposure. If you were talking u9 - u13, then I would be a bit worried if I were Surf. This is nothing new for RI players. Can't you just let it go? She wasn't good enough then and she still isn't now.

Surf RI is going to need a lot more than a Surf Select team to keep players from going to Bayside now that they offer some ECNL Regional teams.

Surf select is not all about RI. Kiddos travel to MA and CA to try out for this team. It's all of the US. The surf select team then picks the best of the best from different states to compete in tournaments in the USA and Europe. It's a great experience for the players.

When I saw the photo of the 08 boys' team in Brazil and recognized 4-5 RI players... well, that tells you everything you need to know about Surf "Select." Got their butts kicked down there, too, so don't try to tell me those RI boys are the best the entire Surf network has to offer..
