I thought this was the RI forum? Why are MA people over here trashing the whole state? Just like any other state there are good players and bad. We have less of both because we are smaller. To say there are no good soccer players here is crazy.

FTR I know several players from my RI town that play for some of the top teams mentioned earlier. Who cares? People play where they want to play. Why does it have to become a RI vs MA thing? Once again MA has more clubs to choose from due to size.

This thread has gotten off track. Can we get back to RI state cup and ignore these jerks?

While maybe just a shade below top MA clubs, I'd say the RI Boys U13 teams (Bruno, Bayside, even BW) are a solid group -- imagine if you could make one team from those 3 teams. I think the SC BU13 semis/finals could be worth watching.

u12 Boys SC results

Anyone have a score from the Rayside United vs. South County u12 boys game played last night?

South County 5, Rayside United 0

Looks like Bayside FC Bolts will play South County and Bruno will play Portsmouth in the SC semis. My guess is Bruno v Bayside in the finals which should be an interesting game as Bayside beat Bruno both meetings this spring but lost three times to Bruno in the fall. Not sure what changed on either team.

Because he's a Bayside player and everyone knows Bayside would only accept the best players and only put together the best teams. They're in a class of their own.
