If I was Cumberland I would be thinking about getting those coaches and kids. Not sure how good the coaches would be but the kids can play. They only had a few teams this year in superliga but I think most were anchor teams.Comment

Central Falls at one time for a small program turned out some very good players and teams. Playing in the CF rec league was as good at playing spring competitive elsewhere. Believe it or not you will find more kids playing football in CF in the fall than soccer. Add to that the lack of girls playing and it would be a good thing for someone , especially Pawtucket to lure them in. It would be a win-win both for both rec and competitive leagues especially in this time of premier soccer where many of the best players have moved on.Comment

Perhaps the only redeeming quality to a merger. CF coaches have never shied away from playing a team up an age group, or playing Anchor. Coaching soccer is likely the easiest part of coaching CF teams.Comment
