Prout has a couple strong Juniors/Sophomores and some freshmen with premier experience coming in but they lost almost 10 seniors - not sure this year will be impressive but the next couple years they could be a strong contender to EG.

You'll have 6-7 girls on the team with Regional experience.

Don't discount NK, they have some strong, athletic sophomores who played JV all year coming up.

If you look at D1 girls, there are basically 3 teams with one player scoring almost all of the goals for those teams. Once those 3 players graduate, which is this year, I think you will see NK and Prout, as well as SK and EG, take a place at the top for a few years.

look at the summer league scheudle (ocean state summer sup) if you want to see who the leaders in girls D1 and D2 will be. I can tell you it will not be EWG in D2 and it might be some new leader in D1 other than EG or LaSalle.

JV is not a good predictor of future Varsity teams. The JV players are typically the REC kids or lower end premier players that still want to play soccer in High School.

** And where do you think the 6-8 players most teams need to replace graduating players come from? Maybe some of the privates do get transfers in, but the public schools pull up from their JV squads. Maybe not all schools, but look at the programs successful at middle school and JV -- strong correlation especially at higher division for future success. Maybe your statement is true at the lower performing schools..which is why they stay lower performing over time..

You are kidding me right. Some of these teams are playing without 4 or five of their starters

Barrington is playing with hardly any starters from last year's team. But good job analyzing the data.
