i understand what everyones saying about premiere teams, but you can be as good on a premiere team as on a select team! as long as you play you can improve. Why pay all that money for a team. Premiere teams will take anyone who pays.

Because my son plays premier and select I get to see a lot of SuperLiga games and I can honestly say that is not the brand of soccer I want my kid to learn. He still play select because I feel he needs to gain some confidence by playing against players with less quantity. Or if I want him to work on certain part of his game.
So select does have some benefits. It gets kids excited about the game and develop more appreciation for this beatiful game.

I suspect you have never seen a Premier training session or a match between two decent Premier teams. SL/Select isnt the same game. Most Premier teams take 17/18 players and I will grant you that on some teams those last couple kids may not be the caliber that they could or should be when the season starts. But, I will say this, if your kid plays a year of Premier and you can honestly say they have not improved dramatically I would be very surprised
