Agreed. My daughter was on a PF team and the two trapped players were very, very good but were not allowed to play. We already had 20 players for 18 spots - didn't need more.

So basically they shouldn’t have age based teams based off your assumptions!!

Sorry your kid is dumb and had to be held back. Grade based is never happening to prevent losers like you from trying to gain an advantage. Enjoy being a grandparent while your little Mia is playing soccer as a 21 yr old in junior college!!

I guess reading and comprehension wasn’t part of school for you when you were a kid huh ? I was making a point saying that moron !! Look at the whole conversation and focus on the words “ based off your assumptions “! You can apologize and admit when you’re wrong . It goes far in life !!

Dumbass, there is no difference in between grade based and year based, it never been.
The difference is the cutoff date, December 31/January 1st. for year based vs. July 31/August 1st. for grade based. In both option the oldest kid on the team is no more than exact one year older than the youngest player on the team

2012 NL over the weekend, PDA Blue 2, Ukies 0.

Not a bad result for Ukies.

Should have been 8-0 . Maybe next year it will be closer if the 2011s best players are trap kids !!

So we have been told Ukies is using trapped players. PF doesn’t use trapped players (though one poster is claiming they currently are). What do Delco and Hex do? Is there a club policy against it if they don’t? Or do they just not have any at all/any that would move the needle?

My guess is that it is a Hex 2011G parent complaining. Even if Hex would use trapped players, highly doubt anyone from the 2010 team would be helpful to Hex’s 11s. So is it a jealousy Hex vs Ukies thing? Will this Hex parent be just as mad if/when other opponents in their conference use trapped players this fall?

You definitely read it wrong . It was sarcasm. I was actually giving the ukies credit for only losing 2-0 and mocking the ppl crying about trap players . I see why you thought other but I promise you it wasn’t the case . Def not on here to argue so have a nice day !

Low blocks work really well. Boring as poop soccer tho.

Yeah, employing an effective defensive strategy against a stronger opponent is SO lame, amirite? This is America! We only care about offense and goals!!

Taking u13 North Atlantic conference a little too seriously are we?

This isn’t the World Cup and I’m sure the Ukies have a inferiority complex but at this age the game still should be fun and everyone should get meaningful minutes.

and yes- low block is poop soccer.

Delco uses trapped players. Then they are over rostered and girls who tried out out and made the team are not dressing for matches to make room for the trapped players.

wow, when you think Delco parents can't go any lower, they somehow always surprises you.
