Police officers and judges use a trait known as "discretion" to bad these sc-mbag politicians don't have the common sense to do the same.

or Perhaps they are very smart and all there decisions made are strictly politically based.
      ALL POLITICIANS ARE SC_M!

so is freedom of religion, but outdoor religious service... banned.

when the trump supporters protested the lockdowns media was all over it with 'how can they allow this to happen and spread the virus'

the hypocrisy is obvious for those who choose to notice.

Couldn't find info on outdoor religious services that were banned, but here is the language of the 1st amendment-
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"

"The media" covering Trump supporters is also protected by the Constitution as is the right of Trump supporters to protest the lockdown...not sure where you're finding hypocrisy in both parties exercising their rights. I know the Orange Kool-Aid is tasty, but you're drunk on it.

The Hypocrisy is on the liberal side. and what drives the republicans a bit crazy is that the crazed liberals can't even acknowledge it.

                  "people peaceably to assemble"

are riots, looting, and vandalism constitutionally protected rights?

yes there were/are bans on places of worship holding outdoor services, even if google doesn't have any search results, call your local place of worship if they were/are permitted to have outdoor services.

both parties have hypocrisy, but it seems liberals have been basting in bizzarro world.

Outdoor services are not banned as long as they are distancing. They are also allowed inside if they are following state guidelines. Shutdowns are for a limited time period and warranted as there were multiple cases of indoor services infecting dozens.

restaurants just recently have opened indoor dining. I think these arguments are perhaps a few weeks to late.

the protestors aren't following state 'guidelines' and 'protocols', the wacko in Cali said all gatherings banned except protestors..

cuomo says we have to lockdown society to protect most vulnerable then forces covid positive patients into nursing homes.

death rate per million in new york state was way worse than no lockdown sweden.

even if there was a national lockdown, is that even possible since its the states that mandate the lockdowns, not federal. once they open international travel it is only matter of time before it comes back.

IMO, the collateral damage of lockdowns is way higher than no lock downs in terms of missed diagnoses of other diseases, suicides, depression. no one knows the extent of the damage done.

You are correct but if you are insinuating that ny gov cuomo is stupid for doing what he did you are wrong. he is very shrewd and knew exactly what he was doing.

He saved NY billions of dollars by euthanizing the elderly so not to pay the medical care.

It’s all “collateral damage”. The stupidity of people amazes me. It’s all about politics and those Trump Republican Governors. Georgia, Florida, Texas, etc. The CDC/NIH spelled it out, this is a virus not going away and it will only multiply, mutate then return with a second spike. They made it clear first, you need to quarantine which we all did for 10 weeks. That absolutely worked. Next, wear masks, social distance and constantly wash hands for 4-8 weeks. After that the chances for this mutating/returning before late fall/early winter diminished greatly. That is all they needed to buy time to come up with a vaccine to control this virus which will never disappear. That was too much for Trump and his minions and Republican Governors. When will We return to a level of normalcy with school, work, sports? If we followed the medical experts advice we could have been there in September. With the spike coming now you can forget about anything becoming normal this Fall. The first stage for a return will happen in November when we kick Trump to the curb. There will be no school/club sports this fall. Who is at fault? Look in the mirror if your not wearing a mask it’s you *******!

Over 143,000 Americans have died in the last 4 months as a direct result of Trump's lack of leadership, combative and divisive behavior, sociopathic narcissism and general ignorance. In an interview with Fox News' Chris Wallace, Trump finally admitted liability for the destruction of our Great Nation saying-"Look, I take responsibility always for everything because it's ultimately my job, too."

It's time to hold Trump accountable.

Every major western country has had similar, or even worse fatality numbers from Covid. This is not a Trump issue.
