Leadership from The East Meadow SC & Farmingdale SC announce a strategic partnership of two of the top soccer programs on Long Island, New York. The Farmingdale SC officially becomes an affiliate member of East Meadow Soccer Club and will host Girls ECRL (Elite Clubs Regional League) teams for the 2019/2020 soccer season. The combined resources & coaching staff from both organizations will expect to continue to provide a proven player-first development pathway for girls’ soccer on Long Island.
Within this enterprise, East Meadow SC & Farmingdale SC will provide a structure and training model that will allow all female players the true opportunity to develop under the highest standards in youth soccer. All players from both clubs will have the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of girls’ soccer in the country, region & state through the ECNL and ECRL.
Ruairi McGuinness, East Meadow SC Director of Coaching said, “On behalf of EMSC we look forward to welcoming the players & coaches of Farmingdale SC to the EMSC Family. EMSC has worked very hard to develop a reputation of sustained professionalism & quality throughout our organization. We are excited to work with Farmingdale SC to maximize our opportunities for the continued progression of both programs."
Jaime Gonzalez, Farmingdale SC Director of Coaching said, “On behalf of the Farmingdale SC, we look forward to this great opportunity for all of our players to continue to grow and take the next step in their overall competitive development. Farmingdale SC has always worked very hard to provide the right avenues for all our players and this is a fantastic opportunity to continue that model. We are very excited to work together with the East Meadow SC’s coaches, players & staff to continue to build a positive future for all players from both clubs.
