Youth soccer matters to the players, coach and families. That's pretty much it, from age 5 all the way up through college.

Kids who break rules usually have dirtbag parents. Most likely if a DA kid plays HS it is for selfish reasons. My bet is that they are so self absorbed they don't realize that both their DA teammates and HS teammates resent them.

So many options out there so there is no need to break rules. Only people who view it differently are likely the same folks who think like the college admissions Hollywood people.

Likely true. Every time I've had the discussion with a parent about the HS issue, every single time it's "I remember when I played softball (or football) it was the most fun time of my life."

I'm not going after the kids. The parents should be teaching them. It's like wanting to be a part of anything (Religion, Business, etc..). We all have rules we have to abide by in order to be a part of something.

If you don't like the rules, don't join. If you break the rules there are consequences.

OMG. This is long island soccer. Players being crapped on, lied to, disrespected etc are everywhere in lots of clubs and lots of leagues and some gda clubs among the worst offenders. Who are you to lecture us out here about rules and respect? Give me a break
