Kaz is not the greatest coach, but he is much better than anyone at NYSC, MFA, and STA, so as a parent of a young talented player you can do a lot worse than him.

No shortage of that in kid soccer. But as these families travel from club to club they never seem to learn that soccer is a team sport. If the rest of team is treated lesser to have some on the team treated more, it never ever works. At least not until the divas can figure out how to play all the positions by themselves at the same time.

GDA is girls soccer. There is no A team in girls soccer. The only kids that get A team youth soccer are boys in the funded academies. Girls get watered down, over priced, pay to play nonsense. It stinks that is reality so dont pretend otherwise. Good luck.

I think you are confused. The existence of pay to play only impacts the total player pool but does not negate the fact that clubs have A and B teams.

If your kid is a great player, she will find a way to shine like a diamond in a goat's arse no matter where they get put .... 'GREAT' is overused quite a bit. By the same token, if you put kids without heart, talent, and drive onto FCB, they will still lack luster (even moreso) and not be great players. Parents need to let the kids figure out where they belong, not keep propping them up into places they earn for them off the field.
