I agree that US Soccr is a mess and I hope that something can get done about it. A solution can be we can stop spending our money and making their wallets fat.

lol true. But I don't think there will be many surprises. Also not surprised that some clubs are struggling to fill rosters, especially u16 and u17. Doing the split was so stupid.

We'll see. All it did was bring in a few more bodies, certainly not all quality players. Doesn't help the image of an already weak league and reinforces the image that USSF only cares about money, not soccer

Relax. Soccer generates peanuts here compared to what other countries mange to squeeze out of it. Real Madrid and Barcelona alone are worth over 8 billion...just those two. The American soccer industry does not even come close.

Yea, not a good comparison, as SSS was one of the best NPL in the country, and their player AS is about to become a Star for the National team, a better example would be STA....

I’ve discussed with both Stars and NEFC parents, and although there are many funny stories and SSS, they all respect her, and the club....especially the team with AS on it, that kid is freaking great, as is JS @NYSC, both teammates with the stars & stripes gang, not bad company....

Funny you should mention SSS. They have a couple of players on national team. They were a natural club which should join GDA. The team seems to go up and down depending on the availability of those players, but for example the 2003 team last season beat the FC Stars White 7-2 and FC Stars Blue 3-1.

So is the NE GDA is an absolute joke, NE ECNL is an even bigger joke, correct? The truth is that there are good teams in GDA and ECNL and occasionally an excellent NPL club with a great coach.
