Taking the money and then replacing the player is pretty fraudulent behavior. I am sure it is covered in the team guidelines but that does not make it ethical.

Because no body would join any soccer club if they ever found out the truth (as they are all mostly the same)....people are just happy to pay and think they have a right to complain....you have no right to complain since it was your decision to join the club, you are not entitled to anything and you are not special.
You sound like a club owner. You run a business, get used to that idea. Do things right and you'll get less complaints.

2. every club on LI has a never ending supply of parents willing to write the check, some kids will go and others will come. To think otherwise is not realistic.
3. People will always complain as it is human nature, there is nothing you can do as a club owner...you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can never please all the people all the time.
So in summary, once you choose a club YOU made the decision to join, nobody put a gun to your head....be accountable for your decisions and own up to it.
In the end...no body likes a sissy complainer.

Participation in youth soccer fell 15 % in 3 years. Most sports are down a little but soccer took a real dive. Reasons cited were cost and travel. Soccer won't go away but some families are saying enough to the high cost and absurdities of it all.

2. Once they get your money, they don’t care about you unless you are a top 11 player.
3. If clubs want parents to complain less, they should start with being honest with parents.
Not the OP, but recently outright lied to by a club to get us to switch clubs. Clubs in this area do not care about the kids, much less the parents.
