    Correct.

We live in NJ, and traveling to Westchester was not an option, as I have other daughters, besides we have been with WC for many years, this situation sucks.

Quickly goes to teamsnap to uncover that YOU LYING. Not one player from NJ from NYCFC on the composite roster. Keep trying though.

And again, did you talk with Pete at all? Seems like he would have a very good handle on what the composite team would be doing this year (as would anyone from WC who sees that year in and year out the composite team has a limited schedule, but that's a different conversation).

Having said that, based on what you are saying, what would you have done had Kaz/Fredy/Pete told you about the shortened league schedule ahead of time? As you just said, you wouldn't have gone to Westchester because you live in NJ. Would you have gone to STA DA? Seems like a lot of NYCFC DA players went there, so it's not like that wasn't something that others from the team might have discussed (especially if they were your daughter's teammates). If not STA DA, then where? Doesn't seem like there are a lot of actual options for that age group.

My daughter was an 02 NYCFC player last year, and we went to STA, must agree that there was much confusion and anxiety from the 01, 02, and 03 families, good luck!

How many 01/02 NYCFC players decided to stay at WC and are now on the Composite team?

Can we just be honest here, 1 player in the 02 age group went to STA because she didn’t make the 02 ECNL team. I believe 1 went to a CT based club. The rest will make up the composite team at WC From what I have been told by my daughter, her friends who went to STA at the 03 age group are seriously upset with what they were promised, and what they are getting. Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

From what I hear & have seen with Coach PM is that the composite team will have the best training out of any other team in the tristate area.

How could no one have mentioned FSA? Almost every team was at the bottom last year, ECNL and NPL.

There were only 2 02 players on the team, right?

Again, my daughter was on one of those teams, and yes there were two players on the 03 NYCFC GDA team that were 02’s, and as far as I know both left to different GDA clubs, but not sure, as we have moved-on, and frankly my dear I don't give a damn.

                            What CT based club?

How can an 02 player be on the 03 team?

Maybe the poster is confused. BDA allows a few smaller players play down an age group but I don't think GDA does. Plus the BDA thing is more for smaller boys who haven't hit puberty yet. By HS girls are done growing.

anyway, I believe the 02/01 NYSC team last year had several 03 players on it.
