I know who you're talking about and I'm not her. People can have opinions without an agenda. Look at the WWC...who ended up in the final four??? Fast, strong, physical, fast teams! Where are all the supposed technically superior teams??? Where is all the fancy foot skill? I'm not saying all you have to do is run the ball in a straight line, but at the highest levels, athleticism still reigns supreme.

Each team needs a mix to be successful. Some speed some skill, some field vision and a goalie worth good hands. Can be successful long team without players that act like a team. NT players seem to have an agenda that has nothing to do with soccer. Do something wrong and then when your called out on your antics say look at the other guy or gal.

Just a observation. I am not a relative of the player in question. But you people who have nothing else going for yourselves except to say negative things about a girl who has had a great season are pathetic. Then you have to talk about her mother. Disgusting.

If your team is not what you want, then improve it or leave.
If your daughter is not where she wants to be, tell her to practice.
If your so miserable in your own existence, don't spread your negativity towards others.

True, and I love the really fast kids that take that weak shot from 40 (or simply turn the ball over time and again) because they have no feel for the game (god forbid they pass the ball) or sense the CDM or CB lurking near them and don't have the technical skills to beat them and have no power in their shot to speak of ..... or the burner that can't keep the ball within 10 yards of their feet after any touch. How many times do those track stars get a ball to their feet that clangs out of bounds off of their shin or ricochets right to a defender. Speed definitely kills, but track stars with no hands and/or that can not take a hit are useless in football and track stars with no feet are mostly useless in soccer (sometimes can be a decent CB .... just don't expect to play out of the back with that kid).
