It just seems odd that a kid who has been to very few, *if any* National Camps, suddenly appears on the Roster, no? Feels like USSF throwing PR a bone after booting Alby from GDA and he just picked someone he liked.

That point does not imply that those selected are not good. There are many many kids of similar level who NEVER get an opportunity for many reasons. Mainly the lack of USSF resources relative to the size of the country.

Be happy for those selected, spare a thought for those who miss out , but to draw conclusions like yours is very short sighted.

Its simple, the habitual NT call-back player on Fury, is a perfect example of both. She is a talented kid, but being endorsed by PR is also huge. He has compatriots in the USSF, old buds, and they have been loyal. However, she would not be the call-backs without outstanding talent. Personally, she’s really good, as my daughter says, and I agree.

My daughters 03 bracket was announced yesterday, oy-yev its gonna be rough, but at least they saved the best for last...Solar is a freaking machine, not even sure how they lost a game this year, probably played with 8 players, against the wind both halves, and the ref was horrible. They should be banned for being too good.
