I’m wondering why the federation doesn’t look at these boards for intel and doesn’t pursue even the rumors. All they have to do is cross reference rosters and look at high school rosters or newspapers.

Yes, I agree. I think every organization should drop their day-to-day activity to get all their intel moving forward via anonymous message boards.

In fact, next board meeting I'm going to suggest that. We all just sit around the room and browse looking for inflammatory comments and structure our decisions accordingly.

USSF is in charge of literally thousands of kids. Do they have time for that? They only might pay attention if complaints were filed. Truthfully they only care about the top 5% anyway, and most of those kids aren't playing HS. Even if they were, USSF and the clubs will look the other way because they really want those kids in DA. Exceptions/look-the-other-ways are always made for the studs. The rest are SOL. At worse if it was called to their attention they would make a phone call to the club and say "tell the kid to stop" and it would.

No not at all, especially not for top players. They also have all the loopholes like private school waivers and the ability to add on players up until early April. So kids can play HS then get added on later. Problem solved.

I'm sure it would be very enlightening to see how fvcked up the youth soccer parenting crowd is. Hell, if I had a leadership position and saw some of the crap on here, I'd push to eliminate parents from the sidelines.

USSF president is a money guy, never played the sport. As long as the numbers are there the upper management doesn't care what happens to the sport.
