Even if they told you the truth, USSF rules are exceptions can only be made for private school kids and only if a club and USSF approves. Any club that says you can play and come back in November is full of desperate sheisters. Stay away. If you're not in the insanity of GDA currently, give it another year to see where it shakes out. I wouldn't recommend entering GDA right now and certainly not around here.

the point is being missed. Clubs do it for money. Its all about having numbers. Its not a "reward" for being good. Its also the parent mentality that tries to bend rules to suit them. Look at the college admissions scandal. Its all about cutting corners and getting what you want with minimal effort.

Don't use the state of youth soccer as an excuse. Either follow the rules or don't be in DA.

On the girls siide DA is a pay to play league for kids like others.
If you are running a club and are finding your players want to play HS and then come on board, make a decision and allow I or not.
If you are a player that want to play HS before joining DA team and they allow it, fine.
If you are a player and don't want to play HS, fine.
If you are a player and you don't want to play HS and don't want anyone on team playing HS, find a club that does that.if you can.
Good luck all.
