NYCFC has always said that once the stadium situation is solved, they would be looking to develop a women’s program. We’ve been hearing rumors for months now that the stadium is on the near horizon, so why wouldn’t they be staying connected to WC. Wishing the best for girls soccer

so would it make sense to develop a womens program if the money is not there to sustain it? who will pay for it?

Article dated 2015 addressed how professional women in individual sports (tennis [not just doubles], bowling, golf, UFC, track, etc.) were more successful than professional women team sports. WNBA star Diana Taurasi (UConn - of course) made $107,000 playing WNBA and $1.5 million in Russia.
