While my daughter played for NYSC, u11-u14, the biggest loss we ever had was 4-1, this is beyond embarrassing, this is humiliating...

That U19 team is a trainwreck. The U14 and U17s are good and they have pretty good teams at younger ages. Older teams were the ones that were more based on kids that came with the fcw merge.

Let's be honest, the NE GDA is the new NPL...and middle-below average npl at that. Barring 1 or 2 clubs, the rest is full of teams and players that were/are perennial cellar dwellers in 3rd rate leagues. This ain't Cali...

Many of the clubs were NPL two years ago. Same trainers and mostly the same players, just a new patch on the sleeve. SSS is next year's addition and they're NPL now. But yippee let's drive hours to beat up Empire or fly out west for a showcase when we used to drive to Jeff Cup!

There's blowouts in every league, and you drive just as far for the experience.

I agree that nobody gets anything from that on either side.

But, looking through a few leagues, a two-touchdown result is rare no matter which league. And, often, the only difference between a 6-0 game and a 10-0 game is the latter kept scoring unnecessarily and the former laid off a bit.

Either way, you've got trash at the bottom and are driving far for the experience.

And teams probably traveled far and wide for the pleasure. Same for GDA and all these leagues. Situation is absurd. The travel is a waste of time and money.

You guys are funny with this GDA superiority thing... You know this how? Because you watched a couple of games?

In the few showcases where GDA and ECNL games actually played real games against each other, ECNL got the the better of it. Facts.

Take a look at FL for just one age group - plenty of close games more than their fair share of lopsided games as well. Other age groups are similar. Also, you're grouped based on record so the crap teams will play other crap teams. This holds for both leagues. USDA signed a multi year agreement for San Diego for the year end event. ECNl is usually CA but they could do CO or other Midwest locations if they want.
