Kids display competitiveness in many different ways. Hopefully they learn and become better at managing that fire.

For anyone here to sit in judgment is stupid.

Its also a little fanciful to expect a firm hand from an Coach in an environment where the parents pay. They have every incentive to try an keep everyone happy. Im not condoning that either, but its the way youth soccer works. It only changes when the players are hand picked and need to toe the line to stay.

On youth National teams, you rarely see this type of behavior because you get uninvited real quick.
Maybe that’s why her fury contemporary keeps getting the nod from Carson CA, and not her...

If yours was the kid getting bullied you would not be saying grow up. It must be your daughter or her best friend doing the bullying.

Whatever is going on, these are children. Presumably the posters are here are adults although it can be hard to tell sometimes. Don't discuss kids on a chat forum. Deal with the issue in an adult manner.

Mine has certainly been bullied as have many other. If the bully is a child, it will not be solved anonymously online.

Kids and people exhibit behaviors for a reason. Look for causes when you are seeking solutions.

I had two kids bullied when they were younger....they were instructed to punch the kid in the nose....and they followed directions...thank god....in the end, both bullies got what they deserved and never picked on anyone after. my kids never got in trouble because they were the only ones that dealt with the problem even when the adults turned a blind eye.

Stop tip toeing and raising your kids to be p_ssies and encourage them to stand up for themselves...in the end, win or lose at least your kid will earn respect for themselves ans from the bully.

Of course you have to show how good you are that you are willing to do the work to continue to up your game otherwise, they are not going to be inspired. BUT, you inspire them by showing how amazing you are IN CONJUNCTION with inspiring THEM to be amazing as well. You inspire by being a good teammate.

You dont have to be amazing, just demonstrate that they can trust your skills and your judgement to make the right plays most of the time.

Ummmm....The point of most sports is to have a physical contest without resorting to violence. Kinda why they even exist.

True, but you have to stand up to a bully in a way that works for you. If the bully is a better player, you would be the fool to try to beat them in that manner. So, to make your point, you brutalize them (verbally or physically on the field) until they get the point. If you can't get their respect, they will at least choose easier targets to victimize.

Ummmm...that is just a general life example....for a teammate in soccer....perhaps it would not be a bad idea to slide tackle the bully (HARD) in practice and/or an "accidental" cleat to the anckel or inside thigh....as the bully is lying on the ground crying...stand over them tell em to "suck it up buttercup"....either way, pretty sure the bully will stop her wicked ways.
