Originally posted by Unregistered View Postmy daughter is 01 that is graduating in the spring. But I want to say that we had nothing but great times with NYCFC. Last year was a whirlwind, so much hype, so much doubt, but the idea was embraced by just enough quality players, that the club was respected nationally, as we had our games aired twice live on YouTube. Like I said our adventure is ending soon, and we (my kid) regret nothing. I should not speak for others, as I am sure there is some discontent, so it was great while it lasted...
my point is that respect you speak of was not a 2 year process and nothing has changed if the leadership remains.
whatever league those guys have played in, from YA to now, they have always been able to build a training environment that allows quality players to develop if they choose to work hard.
