Solo had more than just "incidents." She was human train wreck. Aside from her performance the team doesn't miss her at all. But Ellis is now learning it was a huge mistake not making more of an effort in developing other GKs.

Hinkle is a tougher question. USSF isn't a government entity and is free to have whatever they want on their uniform. While I'd prefer teams not make statements, I also understand that sports teams/individuals can bring attention to social issues and effect change. Gay rights is something the majority of Americans support. The flag is about inclusiveness, something that should be "Christianly" (love everyone) but some Christian hypocrites seethe at it. If you can't get over a flag on your jersey, how do you feel about your many teammates who are gay?

Not sure who you are asking, but I will chime in. if GDA fails in the NE then we all fail as a country, in that we will never be competitive internationally. Some don’t give a rat’s ass about that, if so, then you are not real soccer fans, as most American’s. Soccer is in my blood, and playing against other countries is really important, if you don’t get that then you should go back to softball.

College can be the end goal and we can be successful. 99.99% of girls are not thinking NT. What would be great is if the trends toward technical and tactical soccer internationally can include certain the DA and ECNL here so that we improve the quality of what we see on field and have that make its way to college. Top teams need to stop relying on glorified kick ball, which is why most ncaa women’s soccer teams play.

Why are they not supposed to pander to the fan base? Who the heck should they pander to? People that don't care, don't buy tickets and don't watch the sport? What kind of dumb business would survive if it we're run like that? The pro women's soccer industry us barely on solid ground as it is. They should sell to the customers that want to buy or they will fail.

If there is a quote from Ellis or anyone even remotely affiliated with USSF, that states-"we are altering our uniforms to acknowledge gay pride because the majority of our fan base is part of the lgbtq community" then that would make your hate laden spew a fact.

Who put you in charge? Why don't investigate the French youth game for girls and then come in here. Who teaches them? How much do they pay? Who is involved? How do they produce those players?

What is wrong with gay pride month? Hundreds of sports organizations have some event or promotion for gay pride in June.

I can't imagine the turmoil and animosity that will be NYCFC when trying to eliminate DA and move those girls back to the ECNL. Are parents who were traveling to this club are willing to continue to sacrifice in that way just to train there when there are closer options?

Yes. There stare always closer options. Distance is one factor as are coaching, cost, league, travel, etc. Everyone has their different priorities.
