Did it also touch upon the fact that kid's soccer is a multi-billion dollar business and that many clubs, under the illusion of development, are profiteering on the backs of children and delusional parents?

Email stated that Kaz is on the mend and will be back on the field hopefully soon. He basically said that he knows a lot of rumors are going around and that things are being finalized on what is going on as far as leagues go. He reassured us that as far as the kids are concerned there is no need to worry and that the soccer part will still be run the same. I will quote one thing that stood out for me
“If there is one certain truth I have learned over many years of working with players is that excellent development is most contingent on having a solid staff, proper menu, dedicated players and unique environment”

Let’s see, the club he runs costs well below most clubs. Has the most amount of training sessions a week, the best facilities around, the best uniform which is included in the price of tuition, and has professional video staff filming games ( not like Fury and Alby that use parents ) and he carries rosters of 15. how much of a profit do you think he is making on these teams?

Is the big price difference among the clubs all profit then or is nycfc subsidized in some way?

Thank you...given that it did not indicate that they were definitely staying in GDA, it sounds like the writing is on the wall and they are just figuring out the transition plan. It sucks for all of these kids.

What else is new. Youth soccer is a mess.

The writing is on the wall for GDA in general. The one thing I can say after talking to Kaz about this, is that he is very aware that he himself sold the GDA as the league to pursue. He is not taking its decline lightly. He still believes that those who do not want to play HS, need a viable option. As the overall leader at World Class, he has the ability to structure his programming to accommodate those players who want that menu

Every year something "new and improved!!!!" Age change, GDA...now GDA may fold and there's rumors some leagues want to go back to school year teams. I'm on my last kid but they're only a sophomore. Can't wait for it to be done.

No brainer, if he could arrange friendlies with other teams, not just DA teams, which might not be an option after June, doubt USSDA let’s him, but maybe. He has clout, just like PR and MO in Zaraland. He get probably get 40 DA girls to sign up. The fields are mostly empty at night in the fall, just u14 and under, could be an excellent option. The one factor has to be crediblity with all levels of college coaches. We will sign-up if offered.

I can see NEFC doing the same thing, and going with NL

Why do you say GDA in general..It is strong in some regions. We need ECNL in the east and GDA in the west and never the two shall meet.

That means get be the premise behind ECNL2, an all year league, would be very crafty, and base on grad year!!!

Does not have to be GDA and ECNL. We need regional leagues was the point. No one cares what they are called.

I can totally see ECNL announce the league, then strongly advocate for HS soccer, #noceiling, then do what they have always falsely done, say it’s about the customers...
