I agree on the intensity part, but the younger player was over her head and a turnover machine. The goal was well taken assuming it was a shot and not a cross. Then vibe changed when the UVA kid came in. She was a difference maker. I think she will make it to the u20 WC as a super sub. She's gotten to be more than just pure speed that she was a couple of years ago,

How does US Soccer schedule the Girls Summer Showcase during regents week? I get missing a few days during December, but they can’t miss state testing. I checked ECnL’s June Showcase, and it is after Regents. What’s up US Soccer?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThey don't care about school at all. If they did they're try and schedule events around holiday periods so at least kids would miss a little less school. The also wouldn't make events run over so many days. Playing three games in three days isn't going to kill kids.

With two days left to go the NE division isn't exactly tearing it up, although there are some exceptions
Empire U15 0W 2L, U17 1T
Alby - links for them are not working on DA website, but we can guess
Fury U15 2W 1L; U17 2W; U19 2W
NEFC 15 1W 1L; U17 1W; U19 1L
NYCFC U15 1W 2T; U17 1W 1L; U19 UL 1 T
Oakwood: U15 1L 1T; U17 1L; U19 2L
Seacoast: U15 2L; U17 1L
NYSC: U15 2L; U17 1L; U19 1L
NE Overall 10-17-4 but take some of NY Fury's wins out and it's a very different story and only two other clubs have any wins.

Do these teams go to the spring showcase out west in April and then also the west coast one in June or do they go to one or the other?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostOn the DA website for the Spring Showcase it only lists u14, u15, u16/17 as the age groups. Is the oldest age group not included in this showcase? Is this the same for the June showcase?
