How disappointing for the 05 NYCFC girls. They go all the way to LI on a cold, miserable day to play teams they just played 2 Sundays in a row at the Albertson NEWSS Tournament. Which Road Scholar thought that was a good idea?

First people complain about traveling 6 hours to play and game, now they complain about playing some of the same teams, can’t win here. I for one, see no problem with them playing at NEWSS, as it’s an approved GDA tournament, they don’t have that many choices when it comes to that. Well, at least they won!!!

They are about as good as my daughters team was back when she was an u14, so bravo, BUT if you look at their record at Jeff and Stars Cup, it was poor, you're just another big fish small pond team, we strive for more here, its National competition we measure ourselves against, and you should too. Again, bravo on NEWSS, and get back to us after Jeff19.

The Stallions are a solid club and a solid 05 team. Unfortunately, they continue to lose girls to GDA or ECNL programs because they will not be playing in any GDA or ECNL showcases. If you as a parent dont care about that, then yes they are a great choice. Solid trainers whose teams always perform. This is coming from a parent who has played against the club for years. I wish we had something like this on LI.
