How do you think that will happen? The system doesn't have all the top players and has a lot of crap coaches and teams. Several of the nation's top clubs left already and probably more will drop out after this year. If USSF makes NT picks based on politics they are missing on talent. They also don't invite new players often. Once in you're on a squad by u16 you're pretty set.
Then top it off with poor coaching and insufficient training for NT teams and we will be passed by other countries quickly enough. Ten years of BDA has improved the men's side ( much of it driven by MLS clubs not pay to play) some but the rest of the world has improved more. We may never catch up.

Another fool with an agenda. KT=/= CK, playing schedule not the same, training schedule not the same.

remind me again how many international caliber players CK or JE has helped develop?

Really? PL and MA both trained with ECNL last year and hardly played any DA games. when they did they made no difference.

They were both selected to the qualifying team as GDA players. MM was told if she leaves GDA she will never be invited back.

This is exactly what people predicted last year but GDA fanboys rejected - that after the inaugural year, maybe two, players will be told be in DA or else.

International Caliber??? Do you think any of the players who are on any of the NYCFC teams, and who did not play at WCFC first are international caliber? You’re crazy. WCFC helped everyone of those players, with the exception of JD who already was at the level when she came to WC. Beat a team from California or Texas before you talk international dude

That is the leverage they have.

No way to blame the GDA for them, the current 04 teams are the ones that should advance more, but only time will tell.
You GDA lemmings are such a joke!!! Most of the players on the U17 team are 15/16 and have been playing GDA for the last year and a half...meaning they were maybe 14/15 when they joined GDA. That's what? Maybe a year of ECNL play, if that?

The horrendous performance at the U17 WC lies squarely on the shoulders of USSF's awful scouting practices and sub-par "development academy". The play was so embarrassing...

Well that's something considering she passed away 10 years ago, but ok. Doesn't change the fact that the lousy U17 performance is coming off a year and a half of GDA training. You know, the amaaaaaaazing training and environment that was going to keep them competitive! I swear my kid's HS team looked better...

Very disappointing, they looked scared, afraid to make mistakes, that is the coaches fault, Mark Carr is a twit, hope he gets deported

So it works for 1%. What about the rest? They don't care. Unless the league or clubs offer them something substantially better than other options, its not going to last (or at least not last in its current form)

The 1 percent? These high end leagues are for the well off player with very very few exceptions. Maybe the 1 percent talent wise is in that demographic and maybe not. We will never know or care.

His asst, DC, is a horrible coach. The way they played; the players in certain positions, players NOT playing, subbing and style of play is ALL DC 100% ALL DAY LONG! Tje guy could t coach his way out of a paper bag. No clue. Same bad soccer and same bad coaching and a warped sense of talent.
